Laura Khalil is an executive coach, speaker and program facilitator who helps people develop the confidence, clarity and courage to turn their dreams into actionable steps.

After leaving a broken marriage in 2007, Laura found herself homeless and financially strapped. She vowed to get herself out of this situation by putting herself in the driver's seat of her life and discovering her true potential. With little experience, but a lot of drive, she moved to San Francisco and pursued  a career in technology marketing.

Facing many of the challenges that confident, assertive and driven women deal with in the workplace, Laura launched she launched her marketing consultancy in 2013, determined to thrive. She quickly learned that the traits that penalized her as an employee were her greatest assets as a leader. She built a multi-six figure business  working with name brands such as Twitter, Intel, GE and more on global initiatives.

Today she teaches the keys to her success. Her talks and programs include a mix of inspiration, mindset development and actionable next steps to ensure that students leave inspired and empowered to go after their dreams.

A lover of the arts, Laura is actively involved in supporting the arts in Detroit. She is the co-founder Detroit Writer’s Collective and Creative Salon, an artistic gathering in unique spaces. She has performed storytelling at The Moth, RISK!, Detroit Women of Comedy Festival, Detroit Stories, Go Comedy! and Planet Ant.
